Psalm 103

Thank God for His Grace & Mercy upon my Conflict Resolution Exam! You've shown me that You're so Real in my life now! I just can't stop praising You today and my tears can't stop streaming down. You've performed miracles after miracles and each time I need Your guidance, You're here with me! Thank You for guiding and be with me throughout my exam! When I have lost my confidence, You have so much confidence in me; when I'm fearful, You're with me, holding me close to Your arms... Lord, what else can I say other than saying Thank You? May Your Hands be with my result as well as my other upcoming exams. Continue to guide and teach me in Your Words, Lord! I am truly so blessed to have You as My Lord & Savior in my life!

And as soon the exam is over, Psalm 103 kept knocking in my head and mind:

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits:

3 who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases;

4 who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;

5 who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6 The LORD executeth righteousness
and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7 He made known his ways unto Moses,
his acts unto the children of Israel.

8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9 He will not always chide:
neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins;
nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth,
so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame;
he remembereth that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are as grass:
as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone;
and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;

18 to such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens;
and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels,
that excel in strength,
that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts;
ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the LORD, all his works
in all places of his dominion:
bless the LORD, O my soul.

Downward Spiral. . .

Supposingly yesterday's entry was the last one for the next 2 weeks but somehow, I have so much thing to say for the day and I find myself going down the pit for the first time this year! Tears just flow down every second without much thoughts. Emotions are just stirring my entire mind and heart as I struggle to find the joy that God has always blessed me with.

Frustration, negative thoughts and anger just pouring in non-stop. I find myself at stake and I have no one that I can turn to. Family members, in your opinion, will be the first one that came to your mind... but forget about it! They don't even know what exactly I'm going through now. Feelings of regrets, hatred and bitterness just come falling down. The heaviness of my heart that I never experience before causing me to experience for the first time now. Vivid imaginations & abnormal dreams are getting worst.

God, are you there? Do you know I'm suffering so much now and my exams is on Monday? I hardly focus and remember while I'm reading. I just can't take it anymore, Lord. Come Lord and fill me with Your joy,Your peace and Your love once more! Let me know that You're real, Lord! Emotions and burdens are overwhelming me, Lord!

Thank You, Lord... for giving me this song for the past 2 hours: You Know My Name!

I have a maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
My life was in his hand

Chorus
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

I have a Father
He calls me his own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go

Chorus
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

It has empowered me so much- really! You really exist! You touches my heart like no one else can! You know my thoughts and my desires without having to tell You! You're my Counselor n' my Comforter!

Giving You all the Glory, Honour and Thanksgiving! You save my life once again!!!

P.E.R.S.E.V.E.R.A.N.C.E
I have come to realize that perseverance do make a great difference rather than to "buy time". Today is the last day of the 6th week and starting from Monday onwards till the week after, it's the stressful moment and by now, I suppose to finish reading my conflict but I didn't- only 1 chapter so far on the conflict in the workplace. Lectures are pretty bored nowadays but there's nothing I could do but to pay serious attention in class.

At this moment, I just need some words of encouragement to continue my journey of perseverance and being hopeful every second. Nevertheless, I believed whether you're big or small, you would still need some space for those encouraging words and some sort of inspirations.

When life whirls, rattles, bumps and roars, God is peace, calm and hope in the eye of the storm!

From now on, I'm gonna burried myself in the conflict lecture notes and the textbook and go through all the case studies again.

So, from today, I won't be able to update my blog as regular as I had in the past. Every second is so precious to me now.

Verses of the day: "Take delight in the Lord and He will give me the desires of my heart. Commit my way to the Lord; trust in Him too, and He will bring it about" (Psalms 37:4-5) & "Do not worry about anything, instead pray about everything; Tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers" (Phil. 4:6).

You're Great!

I'm not sure what takes so long for the feeder bus to come and get me to the Bangsar LRT this afternoon. I only missed one bus while on my way to the library in Wisma HELP and to my great surprise, I've to wait for 45 minutes for the bus. Not to mention, it's our 'popular' Triton bus and the Rapid KL!

I was exhausted when I got back home but it's definitely so much comfortable than being baked in that hot sun out overthere. Got a quick shower and I'm down to my 2 incomplete assignments. It's about 5.30 p.m. now and I'm done! Thank God for His guidance 4 hours ago.

Digging into my human services book now just to get myself emotionally prepared for a quiz tomorrow... Horrid Intro to Research- is getting complicated each day and I'm trying to figure out the logic behind every research methodology! And by all means, I will start reading my conflict book & notes from tomorrow afternoon onwards. Time is scarced!

Tomorrow will be a long day for me, altogether and by God's grace, I'll survive! He is a GREAT God! Here's the song that I'm deep into since I started typing my assignment this afternoon- You Are Great!

You deserve the glory
And the honor
We lift our hands in worship
As we praise your holy name

Chorus:
You are great
You do miracles so great
There is no one else like You
There is no one else like You

You are great

Surrender My All

PROCASTINATION- that's the word I've been looking for today. Sigh, I've kicked that horrid word out of my vocab and it's now back to its existence! I just wonder why ....

It's only coming to the middle of the semester and here I am lazing around, doing nothing much instead. Laziness is a bad word but well, who cares? I'm just so frustrated with all the datelines and boy, I've been tearful for days,staring blankly at the wall in front of me.

It has been a tough day, altogether- A whole array of my emotions swooshed in & out of my entire being. It's only about 8.3o p.m. now but here I am trying to procastinate as much as I could, a couple of days before I faced my Conflict mid term exams this coming Monday. I wonder how can I cope for the next few days before everything got messed up by my own actions and the question that I asked myself now is that am I willing to accept those consequences later on....Procastination, good or bad- it's up for me to decide and I realized that it's a choice that I can make before it's too late!

Now into my Intro to Research readings. Hopefully, I can remember as much as I can the terms that have been taught in class for the quizzes tomorrow.

Thank God for His Almighty hands and His assurance that is with me all the time- Surrendering my all to Him ... He is my everlasting Father!
Lord, I need Your grace and mercy.(that's definitely, Lord..)
I need to pray like never before. (yes!!!)
I need the power of your holy spirit
To open Heaven's door.
Spirit touch Your church,
stir the hearts of men.
Revive my soul
with your passion once again.
I want to care for others
Like Jesus cares for me.
Let your reign fall on me,
Let your reign fall on me.
Here's the scripture that I've pondered on today: "The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (I John 4:4).

Stress Kills!

Entering the 6th week of my semester and today is a real stress for me. I was trying to finish up reading the chapter on client for my human services but I found myself in the 'lala land'. . . But thank God I managed to finished most of it and I left with 3 more pages before my quiz on this Wednesday.

What I could say is that my Saturday is somewhat "wasted" for the past 2 weeks, including yesterday. . . Not exactly wasted rather it has been put into good use for the Lord to restore my soul and mind once again! Yes, I admit I have lost approxima
tely 10 hours for the past 2 Saturdays as well as on Wed nights but it's really worth it! Thank you Lord for ministering to me in such a unique way! I've learnt so much about you, God!!! Continue to do a deeper work in me!

Well, it's now 7.26 p.m and my table is still so messy and disorganized... Both tables are being used up eventually. . . I'm really so stressed up! It has been a hectic week for me but no matter what, I will still trust in the Lord for His strength to be upon me!

My study table VS. My computer table

Ending my entry for today with a short poem which really touched my soul so much:

God have not promised,
skies always blue,
flowers-strewn pathways,
all our lives through.

God have not promised,
sun without rain,
joy without sorrow,
peace without pain.

God have not promised,
we shall not know,
fail and temptation,
trouble and woe.
He have not told us,
we shall not bear,
many a burden,
many a care.

But God have promised,
strength for the day,
rest for the labourers,
light for the way.
Grace for the trials,
help from above,
unfailing sympathy,
undying love.
All in all, I do not have to fear anymore as in 2 Tim 1:7, it is said that "For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind!"

Oouch. . .

Everything seems to irritates me now... Assignments are piling up one by one on my table and I'm not sure which one I should settle with first. . . God, please grant me the wisdom, Lord... Give me the peace of mind and soul...

Apart from my assignments, mid term is just around the corner- just 1 week left... I thought I'm gonna screw up with the conflict resolution course... I'm just feeling so frustrated and restless. . . 10 hours of sleep seems not enough for me. . . There are times where I wish I could have a cup of hot coffee but unfortunately, even a sip or the smell really shoo me away!

As for now, I really hope that I'll be alert enough to concentrate in class and clear up the workloads as soon as possible! I've been so moody nowadays and everything I do seem not right. All I know is that whatever that is done can't be undo! That's the fact!

I'm not going to be the victim of the whole incident anymore. . . God, please restore me once again! I simply can't take it anymore! You're my Counselor, my Comforter, my Friend and my Abba Father... You're the ONE & ONLY ONE whom I can look unto now!

Coming of Age

I'm officially 21! Being 21 means. . . ? ? ? I can VOTE in the next election? ? ?
Anyway, whatever it is. . .
It's my B.I.G. Day today!

* Phew! I'm finally an adult! What a blessed day! (Candles still standing firm & proud of its light but...)

Scroll down to see wat happen next?. . .

In fact, this actually shows that I have been here in this world for 21 years. And more than half of the time, my life has gone to waste without me realizing it.

With a couple of blinks, 20 years has passed by and I'm still alive here. Recalling those years when I think life has been so harsh on me, it has never been so since the day I know who God actually is to me. His unconditional love for me will never fade and will remain as it is forever.

Today is not only a time of blessings, rather it's a time for me to count my blessings...

Life isn't that bad after all if it is live in a positive manner and forward! Nothing can influence us except we ourselves influence ourselves. Fear in itself has no power except you allow it to do so. Nothing in our lives can ever influence us except we give in to those forces, whether it's internal or external.

In Maslow's hierarcy of needs, it has been said that in order for us to reach the self-actualization stage, all of the other needs have to be fulfilled. My physiological needs, safety needs, need for belonging and love & esteem needs have been accomplished! So, being in the current stage means I will have to learnt to express my potentials and capabilities more as there's so much of hidden potentials in me that's yet to explore as the days passed.

In fact, I have realized that there's a great potential within me and I shall not doubt my abilities, rather concentrate on whatever that makes me happy and build my spirit up. Nevertheless, I will always aim higher than what I believe I can reach. Realizing the spirit of persistence and consistence that is deep sitted within me, I will not be afraid to walk on new path if my heart lead me to. I shall believe in myself once again as I can ultimately achieve what I want in life! =)

Since I'm so speechless and so touched and I've no idea what I want to say, here's the partial of my adventures quoted from Jonathan's blog:

"
Cindy's Birthday

Once again would just like to wish Cindy a very Happy Birthday.Today one section of this blog is dedicated to her adventures with me and her friend, Carine today lol.I met up with Cindy and her friend Carine there and we went to Mdm Kwan's for lunch.Food was not bad.Did lots and lots of shopping.Just got back only bout an hour or 2 ago.It was great fun.We bought some cakes from Strudels and went around hunting for "the perfect spot".Guess where we landed?Burger King's.You guys must be busting out loud right now lol....I was also hoping for some garden place outside KLCC.You know the parks nearby...but we had no lighter for the candles lol...so we had to hunt for it lol.Anyway, I am glad Cindy liked the pillow and poem I sent.Haha I guess poems are becoming quite the trademark for me at birthdays.Well,friends are jewels so we should always value them.Alright guys,signing off" (Jonathan, 2006).

Let's see what's written on the pillow:

Kind hearts are the garden

Kind thoughts are the roots,

Kind words are the flowers,

Kind deeds are the fruits,

Take care of your garden

And keep out the weeds,

Fill it with sunshine,

kind words and kind deeds.

Note: A big thanks to my friends, Carine & Jonathan for making my day a blessed one! ;) and to my other friends, thanks for the wishes. . . To the both of you again, thanks for those lovely gifts! I'm so touched! Man... what a day!!!! =) These are the friends that I will keep them closely in my heart. . . What a pure and sincere friends I have!!! Thanks for the 'cute' birthday cakes too!!!

* The candles in action after the light being blown off by Carine & Me! Look at that middle candle. . . Almost melt! :P

Thanks for reading until the end!

Thanks everyone for making my day a blessed one! =)
