Why is the time flying so fast? WHY??? I really hate that! 2nd week just over like that and yet, I still blur with the lectures. So far, I could only understand 1 subject out of the 5 subjects i've taken. Sounds weird, isn't it? Yeah, I've been so busy with the projects and I didn't have the time to revise what have been taught in the class. Perhaps, I guess it's the time now that I should start revising it before it is too late.

Well, not only that.. I've attended so many hours of movies yesterday! And, I was asked to do 3 reviews of the movies I've seen. I spent the whole night last night doing the reviews.... i struggled through that review for my counseling ones as I need to find out what microskills the doctor used. And, sad to say, I only managed to get to bed at about 3 a.m...which I considered terribly late!

At this point of time, I really feel like giving up my studies but there's a few weeks left before the mid-terms! This term seems going quite fast. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly...

Looking forward for next week... and so sorry for not blogging for this whole week due to my busy schedule!

Nyo~~~ ;)

AHHH!!!!!!!!AHHHH!!!! I just wish to scream and yell out loud! 1st week has just over and 2nd week is here! What is this, man? And there's none of the Saturday that I can have my own time and be free on that day! Yesterday, there's a replacement class for my computer, this coming Saturday, there's a Movie Day that is compulsory for all Psychology full time students and the next Saturday after that, I have another replacement class for my computer again!

And what is so hectic about 2nd week? Let me tell you this... There will be quizes coming up this week for my abnormal psychology, probably for counseling psychology as well and I haven't do any readings on it yet! I'm so busy doing research for all the psychology projects... And I haven't go about the reflective writing for the interactive psychology. OMG! I guess I got to hand it up this coming week... What should I do now? I didn't revise my computer courses yet as far as I am concern... I'm so worried actually cos' the lecturer is going very fast and she is now finish chapter 2! It sucks!!!!!! Really sucks indeed!

Well, I'm so stressed up!!!!!!!! Not going to take more than 2 psychology papers next coming semester!!! No more!! No more! I just feel like give it a big cry to this! That's it! And, a few weeks more will be mid-term exams! Is ADP torturing me or more than that? I'm not sure :( But, I guess they are and they will always be! All Dumb Programme instead of American Degree Programme! I just hated it now! No jokes! Nothing!!!

What's more? I'll be sitting for my 1st test for the Human Communication in 3 weeks time! And, the major project is coming up as well! Whew, I'm half dead!! I can only imagine what I'm gonna end up end of this semester! A zombie? or ??????? whatever I can think of! T_____T The BIG Question now is that: Will I survive until end of this semester? Will I? Can I? The answer will be : I have to! It's a must! There's no reason why I must quit half way here after going through so many ups and downs!

Guess I got to persevere and continue persevere. The reward will be more inviting than anything else at the end of this course! For sure, it will be! ;)

whew.... classes are over for this whole week but..... there's a replacement class for computer this Saturday and I just hate it! I would want to have a few days off at home despite the fact that I've been rushing for lectures, up and down the stairs...so tiring! I got no break in between my classes today, not even a minute...it's like from 10-4 p.m ( straight) *___* Then, during my Human Communication lectures, I excused myself to have a few minutes break just to eat my biscuits (RUSKS)... but I guess my lunch time was over and I've loss appetite to eat. About 3.3o p.m, I got a bad gastric, and there goes the pain again. The pain was terrible! Awful! :(

Anyway, need to read through my textbook now... to get a whole idea what has been teaching for this whole week. Nyo~! ;)

Today is only the 2nd day since the college reopened! And yet, I'm so stressed up by the projects and all sorts of worries.. but, I keep on reassuring myself that I can do it until the end of this semester. Trying to reinforce myself with so many things....looking at this long semester as a shorter one by dividing it into 2... which is only 2 months for 1 section... I think this will be good for me as I don't need to have doubts and worries like last year....

Anyway, today's classes are quite interesting... counseling psyc where Jerry talk about the different dimentions in counseling techniques and on how to apply it in certain case studies... and the computer classes are just jokes and laughters... lol :P Perhaps, the lecturer is still new at the ADP and probably that is one of the reasons why she reacted like this....I just hope that she continue to be funny throughout the whole semester... that will be good ..

Well, I'm so tired right now.... need to have my beauty sleep ... there's a 10 a.m class tomorrow until 4 p.m... gtg .....

huh? I'm so tired today. Got back at about 2 p.m but I don't think I'm feeling that well either. My stomach has been cramping throughout the whole morning until now. Got some nap this afternoon but I don't think that is enough for me.

In fact, I couldn't concentrate that well during the lectures this morning due to that cramp. Anyway, I didn't expect the lectures to be that interesting.... it started off with an introduction to the course... and the lectures began.... well, I love Mr. Mile's lectures... He's a joker, as well... I have lots of fun today.. abnormal psychology... I guess I would be 'abnormal' after that. He talked about the definining an abnormal behavior, which is so - called unusual behavior and the history of it... whereby the heads were drilled some holes, institutionalisation, lobotomy and medication, EST!

Perhaps, I'm looking forward for the next lectures class as Dr. Goh will be taking over the topic on classification and assessment of abnormal bahavior, which is DSM-1V-TR... and Ms. Choo will be taking over the next week's classes on stress..

Got to go to bed now...

Ciaos.........nites! *Hugs*

Lectures will be starting tomorrow. T___T I really hate lectures. No matter how good the lecturer is, I won't enjoy it either. Perhaps, staying home reading those materials will be much more beneficial! Anyway, I'm kinda tired today and feeling nervous about tomorrow. I'll be registering my computer course according to the group I've chosen tomorrow morning and I just hate that long queue! That is why I will make it to college as early as possible as the registration starts at 9 a.m.

I will have 2 psychology classes tomorrow and will only ends at 1 p.m. I just hope everything will be fine. I guess my expectation for this semester is rather high because of the number of subjects I take and my effort and time will be double compared to the previous semester. Anyway, I don't even look forward for those lectures... I'm trying my best to cope well for this semester no matter what happens! What I'm worried about is the assignments or projects that need to be done... and the number of exams I need to sit as well. Exams are the most scary stuff that I'm worried about...

Well, I guess I need to stop here... Will update about tomorrow lectures in my next entry... ;)

shheessh.... Haven't been blogging for the past few days due to addiction to Gunbound... hohoho... lol =)

Today is a nervous day and yet an exciting day for me. I couldn't sleep well for the past few nights as I'm so worried about my summer semester results. And today is the day... lol :) I woke up at 7.30 a.m and had my bath, to get ready to go to college to see my friends at 10 a.m . And when I reach college at about 9.30, my heart beats so fast as I overheard someone saying that results will be out at 10 a.m and will be pasted on one of the board at level 3 but.... oh gosh! I waited until 10.30 and results are not out yet and about 11 a.m, one of my friends informed me that she sees her results a while ago and I go like... I probably fail, sure fail this time round.

And, guess what? I was so reluctant to go and see my results ...It is like I don't have that confidence that I'll do well, especially for my freshmen english II as I was writing craps throughout the essays in the final exam. I really don't know what I was writing at that time though as I kept on looking at the time and I don't have much time left for the last section.

Apart from that, I don't even have the confidence that I'll do well in my microeconomics paper as the finals was so tough and I really can't denied that! The lecturer has put in irrelevant questions that he didn't even teach in class and that really disappoint me a lot! And, I've also heard friends saying that if there's a lot of us, students scored A's in that particular subjects, some marks will be deducted from us and that really worries me a lot. I'm not sure what will the lecturer discuss in the examination board meetings and I've got no idea on that.

Anyway, results were out this morning at 11 a.m and were pasted on one of the board in level 2- and whee... I scored and I did well with a GPA of 3.5! It's unbelievable! Praise God! ;) This are the grades I received for the summer semester :

  1. Introduction to Microeconomics = A-
  2. Freshmen English II = B+ ( Yippee, last english course)
  3. LAN Moral Studies = B

To top it up, I will continue on with my abnormal psychology essay and my favourite game, Gunbound!! Adios!!!

    *Giving thanks unto the Lord*

    COUNTDOWN FOR FALL SEMESTER 2004.........

    # 5 Days More to Go.....

Eeeps.... oh my..oh my... 5 days more to go... sounds interesting, huh? but I was seriously not excited about getting back to college anyway. I hate lectures...long boring ones! And , I hate doing lab reports and anything to do with group projects! It s****! I just hate them. Probably I do it just because it carries a lot of marks and it can determine whether I can pass or fail. 1 mark also bring a lot of meaning to this though. I've been deciding what subjects to take though and I just hope that I can stay firm and confident on my own decision. ;)

The subjects that I've planned to take are:

    1. Interactive Psychology
    2. Abnormal Psychology
    3. Counseling Psychology
    4. Human Communication
    5. Computer and Their Applications

Oh yes... this is a pretty long semester, so the minimum subjects I can take is 4.. and max is 6... so I take the average, which is 5 subjects... errm, people may think I'm crazy though cos' the workload is pretty heavy but I think I just need to believe in myself that I can do it until the final exams... Apart from that, I do feel a bit disappointed as I couldn't take up Macroeconomics. I just love economics but I simply couldn't take this subjects in this coming semester as it clashes with one of my psychology papers. I ended up taking Human Communication *grins* Human Communication is not that easy as I think. I heard that there's a lot of projects but it's fun.. >.<>

    *sobs* *sobs*

I got up at about 11 a.m today when I got a sms from Ps. Cornelio and Ps. Deborah Anne. They will be leaving for the States today and they will be there for 3 months. Yeah, I really miss both of them a lot and I feel so sad... Supposed to meet them on Monday night for their farewell party at ICM office but I couldn't make it as I was just discharged from the hospital on that day itself and furthermore, I'm still having fever. And from the sms I've received from them, they were actually looking high and low for me and when they know that I'm not there, they missed me a lot as how I missed them.

Well, I got to know this 2 married couples a few months ago and they are the ones who gave me the full support including praying for me. I could still remember the time when I accompany Ps. Deborah to a Miracle Healing Service in RLC... I was fulled with joy and so is Ps. Deborah.

Moreover, when I received both of their sms today, I was overwhelmed by the words they gave and they told me that I'm surrounded by love and the partners from ICM too. Yeah, it's true... I'm so called the lil' one by both of them... and somehow I can feel the care and love showed by them...

Last but not least, I really miss them a lot and I couldn't wait for the 3 months to over fast!!! The feelings are awful though... but it will over soon.... hopefully!!!!

By the way, let me share this poem with all of you : "The greatest pain in life! "

    The greatest pain in life
is not to die, but to be ignored.

To lose the person you love so
much to another who doesn't care at all.

To have someone you care so about so much
    throw a party...
and not tell you about it.

When your favorite person on earth
neglects to invite you to his graduation.

To have people think that you don't care.

    The greatest pain in life,
    is not to die,
    but to be forgotten.

To be left in the dust after another's great
    achievement.

To never get a call from a friend,
    just saying "hi".

When you show someone your innermost thoughts
and they laugh in your face.

For friends to always be too busy to console you
when you need someone to lift your spirits.

When it seems like the only person who cares
    about you,
    is you.

    Life is full of pain,
but does it ever get better?

Will people ever care about each other,
and make time for those who are in need?

Each of us has a part to play
in this great show we call life.

Each of us has a duty to mankind
to tell our friends we love them.

If you do not care about your friends
    you will not be punished.

    You will simply be ignored...
    forgotten...
as you have done to others.

I've been so tired and sleepy today. Got up at 8.30 a.m and it really sucks!! Went online to send an urgent message to M to cancel the appointment with her and J this afternoon as I'm still having fever and I could just feel the numbness all over my body, especially my hands. The feeling is awful!! :( Apart from that, I've been dead tired and I really don't know what should I do with that kind of feelings... I just hate those feelings though.

Moreover, results will be out by this coming Friday and I really can't imagine how I've done in all the papers I've taken! I don't have that kind of confidence that I'm going to do well despite the efforts and time I've poured in! And.... it is just 1 week from now... Besides, I've also choosen the subjects I'm taking for the coming semester and I just hope that the subjects I've decided on are good combinations and I can just do well. Yes, it probably might be challenging for me but I have the fear though... Imagine myself going through a very long semester with projects and presentations plus all the exams.... sounds hectic and scary, right?

Errm, I think college life should be full of fun...not to focus on results only...time to learn and yup, social life plays a great role too! Hey, i'm gonna continue with this when I come blogging again... cheers....

    Thursday, August 05, 2004

At last...I'm back to this blogging stuff again. I haven't been around since the last entry I've posted. I think you guys are wondering what has happened to me... not much actually... I've been very down for the past one week but I'm feeling so much better now! Stayed over at one of my friend's place on Thursday night and on that day itself, I've been accompanying to watch a movie called "GODSEND" at Mid Valley. It's a good movie but... it's terrifying! Trust me, yeah?

Well, let me go straight to the point- continue on with what I've promised in that last entry ---> College Student's Guide to Career Goals! Sound interesting, huh?

College is about many things, from learning about specific subjects and the world in general, to increasing your breath through a broad range of new and different experiences. But for almost everybody, including those who plan to get more education, college is, at its core, primarily concerned with one thing: preparing you for a career.

The Importance of Having a Plan...

A student without a post-college plan is much less likely to get off to an early start than a student with a plan. The importance of formulating a plan, as early as possible, cannot be overstressed.

The importance of having a plan now (or as soon as possible) becomes even more important further down the road. The distant future can be tough to plan for, and may even seem totally irrelevant to most college students, but the simple (and sometimes sad) truth is that many people's first "real" job out of school, for better or worse, sets them on a track that can be difficult to switch later. More...

Do look out for the next topic tomorrow. I'm kinda tired now and I guess I need to laze around before I start playing Gunbound again with my friends... Take care
    Adios!! ;)
