: :Collection of my VCDs: :

I'm back, back from the day whereby things have its own ups and downs, where birds are happily chirping early in the morning, music that seems so awakening and the zest for me to hang in there is merely more appealing! So what then? I'm more than grateful and thankful that God has given me the strength to get up early after having enough rest every night though in my opinion, I don't have enough! Anyway, that's my assumption.

Well, interestingly enough, I managed to get my legs back on my usual outings. I went to JJ yesterday with my grandma and guess what I get from there? Haha. Mainly is the psychology VCD which I have been hunting and searching high and low for quite some time. Seriously enough I managed to get one for myself - which added to my collection of my 'PSYCHOLOGY VCDs and DVDs'. The one that I gotten yesterday is 'As Soon As it Gets' with the main actor played by Jack Nicholoson. Nonetheless, it's a very nice comedy movie that a psychology major would wish to have it for life! The others that I had at home were 'Patch Adam' & 'One Flew over the Cuckoo Nest'. Don't get me wrong here. Not a matter of me having some psychological problems but it is me as a psychology major who has a very deep interest in clinical psychology, which mainly deals with the abnormal psychology, together with the guide from the DSM-IV R. I'm more interested in doing research on this field that deals with this if I'm only given a chance to do so. Doing some research in counseling will be the next one. Why is that so? Merely because my passion for clinical and counseling and God's love for me is truly amazing. Maybe you could say that, "What a young girl, but have a big dream" (Carine, 2005). But that is good, right? Plan a step ahead so that I wouldn't get lost after finishing my degree. Well, I would rather do my masters as it's not about chunking and memorizing stuffs in your brain the night before the exams. That is what I presume. Strangely enough, being in this field is not easy as what people might think. How much a person has to suffer while going through this course (with the heavy coursework) but yet enjoying themselves at the same time. If you guys still think that this course is easy, kick yourself hard! Not going to argue in this matter as this is not a topic for debate!

By the way, let me include the review for the latest comedy movie I have watched - As Soon As It Gets.
'As Soon As It Gets' is the latest comedy from writer-director James L. Brooks, whose previous work includes 'Terms of Endearment' and 'Broadcast News' and although this film is unnecessarily convoluted and seems to go on a little too long, it still manages to entertain with snappy dialogue and the performance of its central player, Jack Nicholson.

How do you write women so well?

I think of a man, and then take away reason and accountability.

The opening scene tells you everything you want to know about Melvin Udall (Nicholson): angered by a neighbor's dog urinating where it shouldn't, Melvin throws the dog down the apartment building's garbage chute. He is the neighbor from hell, who doesn't give a damn about the consequences of his actions and is able to put even the most well-tempered person into the foulest of moods. He is an accomplished writer working on his sixty-second book, though he is impeded by an obsessive-compulsive disorder that manifests itself in his scathing disposition and saucy smart-ass comments (that only Jack Nicholson could deliver in his malicious yet delicious manner). One door down from him lives Simon Bishop (Greg Kinnear, who's still looking for a career after "Dear God"), a gay painter who happens to be the owner of the dog. Once a day, he makes a ritualistic trip out into the 'filthy' city of New York to eat breakfast at a restaurant where he torments the staff, particularly the only waitress that can tolerate serving him, Carol Connelly (Helen Hunt).

When Simon is hospitalized after being beaten during a robbery, Simon's art dealer, Frank Sachs (Cuba Gooding Jr. in his first role since 'Jerry Maguire'), threatens Melvin into looking after Simon's dog. At first, Melvin is reluctant to allow the animal into his immaculate apartment, but soon his cold heart is defrosted by his new houseguest.

This then serves as the catalyst for further acts of random kindness, including the arrangement of first-class medical care for Carol's asthmatic son (wait a minute... single mom... sick son... a man who can't express himself... sounds like 'Jerry Maguire' all over again!). At first, he is motivated purely out of self-interest (since Carol's son illness took a downturn, she has been off work, and none of the other waitresses want to even get near him), but soon he finds that he actually has fostered an emotional attachment. And gradually, as he becomes more intertwined in the lives of Simon and Carol, all three main characters learn overcome their own self-imposed isolation.

You made me want to be a better man.

Though the well-paced script balances out the poignancy with the comedy, as a narrative, it is at times meandering and incoherent. Characters are introduced and then quickly forgotten, exemplified by the shortchanging of Gooding's character, who only shows up to act as a bridge between the different acts of the story. Another troubling aspect of AGAIG are the muddled motivations of each character, which seem to flip from scene to scene-- for example, Hunt's character undergoes this multiple-personality disorder during a contrived road trip sequence in the final third of the film, with her actions adhering to the demands of the plot at the expense of the consistency of her character. And while Melvin is a great 'fish out of water' comic character, he is not given any background to explain why he is so abrupt and abrasive-- the one scene where any exposition is attempted on Melvin's background is cut-off abruptly for the sake of laughs.

The saving grace for AGAIG is in the area of strong performances by Nicholson and Hunt. Melvin is a role that very few actors other than Nicholson could pull off, especially with such relish, and this film is worthwhile just for to see him spout off the numerous one-liners. Hunt, despite the limitations of the script, is endearing as Carol, able to span the range between the comic and the tender moments, exuding both vulnerability and conviction.

'As Good As It Gets', despite a messy script and overbearing length, is an enjoyable film that emanates sentiments consistent with the holiday season. As a fellow moviegoer said to me, "It's a perfect Christmas movie"-- the type of movie that will put a grin on your face and warm you up inside.

People who speak in metaphors should shampoo my crotch" (Leong, 1997).

LIVING A LIFE WITHOUT BONDARIES

Hey people.... this is the last part of what i think of dreaming big and with that, you can actually transform impossibilities into possibilities!!!

The starting point of all great success and achievement is dreaming big dreams. There is nothing more important and nothing works faster. Successful people are able to let go of all their self-imposed limits. They continuously fantasize about the person they want to be, and all the wonderful things they can have and do. That is why all high achieving men and women are far more optimistic, confident, and creative than most people.

When you begin to dream big dreams, your levels of self-esteem and self-confidence will go up immediately. You will feel more powerful about yourself and in your ability to deal with every situation that comes your way. One of the main reasons that so many people accomplish very little in life is because they never allow themselves to imagine the kind of life that is possible for them.

Dreaming big dreams isn't easy. You have to think about your life and what you really want. First of all, imagine you have all the time in the world, all the money you need or want, and all the eduction you would ever need. Imagine you have all the resources you need to do whatever you wanted with your life. What would you do?

Before you can decide what is possible, you first have to decide what is right. Because, if you don't decide first what you really want to have and do, then you'll begin thinking about all the reasons why it may not be possible for you. All really successful people start off as dreamers. They dream of a life of infinite possibilities. They know there is no limit to what they could possibly be, have, or do. Every great life, company, and institution of human attainment has started with a dream in the mind of someone.

Here are some important keys to living a life without bondaries:

First, you have to be absolutely clear about who you are , what you want, and where you are going. You must write down your goals and make plans to achieve them. Set priorities for yourself so that each day you do something to move closer towards achieving your goals. The more progress you make towards your goals, the greater your self-confidence and self-belief will be, and the more convinced you will become that there are no limits on what you can achieve.

Another key to living a life without bondaries is to become excellent in your chosen field. You should apply the 80/20 rule to everything you do. Focus on becoming outstanding in the 20 percent that contributes 80 percent of the results. In order for you to do this, you have to dedicate yourself to continuous, lifelong learning. Realize that excellence is a moving target. It's a journey, not a destination. Commit yourself to doing something every day to become better and better until you become the very best in your field.

Two other keys you must have in order to achieve success are, focus and concentration. Having focus is knowing exactly what you want to be, have, and do. Concetration is when you have developed the self-descipline to concentrate single-mindedly on your goal and being able to stay with it until its accomplishment.

The most important key to living a life without boundaries is visualizaton. You should visualize what your life will look like several years into the future, after you've achieved all of your goals. Then visualize the path that you will have to take to get where you want to be. It is very important that you set aside time each day for visualiztion.

All self-limiting beliefs exist only in our mind. They have no substance in reality. There is nothing you cannot do once you put your mind to it. Once you set a clear goal and you put your whole heart and soul behind it, the only thing that can stop you from achieving it, is yourself.

When you allow yourself to dream big dreams, you will set bigger goals as well. You will begin to feel an incredible sense of power and confidence. As you focus on doing what you love to do and become excellent in those areas that can make a real difference in your life, your whole future will open up in front of you. When you release your self-limiting beliefs, you begin to think in terms of possibilities rather than impossiblities, you will begin moving toward the realization of your full potential, and your future will become unlimited.

I hope this article would help you guys think what is outside the box.... what you seem impossible will actually be possible and I am very sure you guys will succeed in achieving your dreams!!~ ^_^

Live your dreams!!! Follow your dreams!!!

What's better than .....

As college students, you're just about to set sail into the real world. As you prepare for the battleground of life, you'll hear many speeches, read tons of books and get miles of advise telling you to work hard, dream big, go out and do something for yourself, and have a vision.

Not bad advise, really. In fact, following these nuggets of truth may just bring you to the top. But as I've lived my life over the years, I have come to realise that it is great to dream big, have a vision, make a name, and work hard. But guess what : There's something better than that!

So my message today simply asks the question, what's better than ...?

What's better than being negative?

Let's start off with something really simple.

What's better than a long speech? No doubt,a short one. So, you guys are in luck because I intend to keep this short.

Now, let me take you through a very simple math exam. I'll rattle off a
couple of equations, and you tell me what you observe about them. Be
mindful of the instruction. You are to tell me what you observe about the equations.

Here it goes : 3+4=7, 9+2=11, 8+4=13 and 6+6=12.

Tell me, what do you observe ?

Every time I asked a group of people, more than 90 percent of them
immediately say, 8+4 is NOT 13, it's 12. That's true and they are correct.
But they could have also observed that the three other equations were
right. That 3+4 is 7, that 9+2 is 11, and that 6+6 is 12.

What's my point then? Many people immediately focus on the negative instead of the positive. Most of us focus on what's wrong with other people more than what's right about them. Examine those four equations. Three were right an only one was wrong. But what is the knee-jerk observation?
The wrong equation.

If 10 people you didn't know were to walk through that door, most of you would describe those people by what's negative about them. He's fat. He's bald. Oh, the short one. Oh, the skinny girl. etc.

Get the point? It's always the negative we focus on and not the positive.

You'll definitely experience this in the Corporate World. You do a hundred good things and one mistake-guess what? Chances are, your attention will be called on that one mistake..

So what's better than focusing on the negative?

Believe me, it focusing on the positive. And if this world could learn to focus on the positive more than the negative, it would be a much nicer place to live in.

What's better than working hard?

We have always been told to work hard. Our parents say that, our teachers say that, and our principal say that. But there's something better than merely working hard. It's working SMART.

It's taking time to understand the situation, and coming out with an
effective and efficient solution to get more done with less time and
effort. As the Japanese say, "There's always a better way."

And according to one researcher, "One of the most memorable case studies I came across with as I studied Japanese management at Sophia University in Tokyo was the case of the empty soap box, which happened in one of Japan's biggest cosmetic companies. The company received a complaint that a customer had bought a box of soap that was empty. It immediately isolated the problem to the assembly line, which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department. For some reason, one soap box went through the assembly line empty."

Management tasked its engineers to solve the problem. Post-haste, the
engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray machine with high-resolution
monitors manned by two to ensure they were not empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast. But a rank-and-file employee that was posed the same problem came out with another solution. He bought a strong industrial electrical fan and pointed it at the assembly line. He switched the fan on, an as each soap box passed the fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line. Clearly, the engineers worked hard, but the rank-and-file employee worked smart. So what's better than merely working hard? It's working smart.

Having said that, it is still important to work hard. If you could combine both working hard and working smart, you would possess a major factor toward success.

What's better than dreaming big ?

I will bet my next month's salary that many have encouraged you to dream big. Maybe even to reach for the stars and aim high. I sure heard that about a million times right before I graduated from this university. So I did. I did dream big. I did aim high. I did reach for the stars. No doubt,it works. In fact, the saying is true "If you aim for nothing, that's exactly what you'll hit: nothing."

But there's something better than dreaming big.

Believe me, I got shocked myself. And I learned it from the biggest dreamer of all time Walt Disney. When it comes to dreaming big. Walt is the man. No bigger dreams were fulfilled than his. Every leadership book describes him as the ultimate dreamer. In fact, the principle of dreaming and achieving is the core message of the Disney hit song, "When You Wish Upon a Star".
___________________________________________________________________

"When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are; anything your heart desires will come to you. If your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme. When you wish upon a star, as dreamers do," as Jiminy Cricket sang. ___________________________________________________________

But is that what he preached in Disney company? Dream?

Imagineering...Well, not exactly. Kinda , but not quite. The problem with dreaming is if that's all you do, you'll really get nowhere. Infact, you may just fall asleep and never wake up. The secret to Disney's success is not just dreaming, it's IMAGINEERING.

You won't find this word in a dictionary. It's purely a Disney word. Those who engage in imagineering are called imaginers. The word combines the words "imagination" and "engineering". In the book "Imagineers," Disney's CEO, Michael Eisner, claims that "imaginers turn impossible dreams into real magic." Walt Disney explained there is really no secret to this approach. They just keep moving forward-opening new doors and doing new things, because they are curious. And it is this curiosity that leads them down new paths. They always dream, explore and experiment. In short, imagineering is the blending of creative imagination and technical know-how. Eiser expounds on this thought by saying that "Not only are imaginers curious, they are courageous, outrageous, and this creativity is contagious."

The big difference with imaginers is that they dream and then they DO ! So don't just be a dreamer, be an imagineer.

What's better than vision?

You must have all been given a lecture at one time or another about the
importance of having a vision. Even leadership expert John Maxwell says
that an indispensable quality of a leader is to have a vision. It is also very clear that without vision, people perish." So no doubt about it, having a vision is important to success. But surprise! There's something more potent than a vision. It's a CAUSE. If all you're doing is trying to reach your vision an you're pitted against someone fighting for a cause, chances are you'll lose. The Vietnam War is a classic example. Literally with sticks and stones, the Viet Cong beat the heavily armed US Army to surrender, primarily because the US has a vision to win the war, but the Vietnamese were fighting for a cause.

In the realm of business, many leaders have visions of making their company No. 1, or grabbing market share, or forever increasing profits.Nothing really wrong with that vison, but take the example of Sony founder Akio Morita. He did not just have a vision to build the biggest electronics company in the world. In his biography, " Made in Japan" he reveals that the real reason he set up Sony was to help rebuild his country, which had just been bettered by war. He had a cause he was fighting for. His vision to be an electronics giant was secondary.

What's the difference between a vision and a cause?

Here's what sets them apart.

• No one is wiling to die for a vision. People will die for a cause.

• You possess a vision. A cause possesses you.

• A vision lies in your hands. A cause lies in your heart.

• A vision involves sacrifice. A cause involves the ultimate sacrifice.

Just a word of caution. You must have the right vision, and you must be
fighting for the right cause. In the end, right will always win out. It may take time, and it may take long. But if you have the right vision and are fighting for the right cause, you will prevail. If not, no matter how sincere you are, if you are not fighting for what is right, you will ultimately fail.

It is said : "To whom much is given, much is required."

Having been given the opportunity to study in HUC, no doubt, much has been given to you in terms of an excellent education. Don't forget that in return, much is now required of you to use that education not just for yourself, but for others. And as you move up and start reaching the
pinnacle of success, even more will be required of you to look at the
welfare of others, of society and of the country.

A final review :

• What's better than focusing on the negative ?

Focus on the positive

• What's better than working hard ?

Its working smart

• What's better than doing something for yourself ?

Doing something for your country

• What's better than a vision ?

A cause

• What's better than a long speech ?

Definitely, a short one, right???

Feedbacks pls.... Feel free to share it with me!!!! =)

Continue....

Sorry people...let me continue what happened that night.... i managed to log on to the ADP's website and what i found was the updated academic calendar! my eyes popped out o_O! I got choked in the midst of drinking my water! Guess what... To my surprise, there is no break throughout the semester.... 11 lectures week straight without break... I was like ..... Aww...how can we students study in such a tight schedule.... remember what i'm planning to take in long semesters... i have planned to take up 5 subjects but now, it seems i have to either move college or take 4 subjects.. but it still seem impossible for me to handle... OOpsss.... here i go again with all the negative thoughts now... my previous post take up my positive thoughts and now, here i come again with the negative ones... wat-lah!!! So negative of me!!!
___________________________________________________________________
Anyway, let me voiced out something....

Being 20, going on 21... it's my 1st time in my life trying out the contact lens!

Well, i don't think I ever had the opportunity to wear contact lens and after wearing it, I found myself being so matured.

In my opinion, I think I'm old enough to have the things I want but not beyond the limits that I have. Grandma always don't allow me to have contact lens and there're times I felt sad when I see my friends who are so much younger than me wearing them!! Softly murmuring, I said to myself, " Why can't I have one? Why can't I? Why , why?? Why not?" Those thoughts goes on and on ......

Thank God that yesterday's ones were FREE of charge!!! I almost gave up trying to wear them as it hurts when I'm trying to open my eyes as big as possible to get it in... Well, after half an hour... it finally got into my eyes... I was so happy!!!! It's so unpredicatable!

When I got home, I removed those lenses and replace it with my spects again. Then, I started to file up my stuffs like what I did every semester.... so many papers lying around on my table but not sure which is important and which is not.... *confused* Anyway, I didn't realized that I have so many notes and stuffs for only 2 reading subjects and a project course. Phew.. it's like me taking a tons of subjects for almost a year since there are tons of paper notes and etc. Weird, isn't it? Well, I spent for about 3-4 hours just to punch those holes on my papers just to get them into my files...........but my files aren't enough.... All is filled and too heavy to be filled up more.... they are 'super-saturated'. Now, I'm wondering when I could get some new files to be up on my shelves before the semester reopens again.

Forget it!

Why the majority of the college students are so free to hang out around with friends but not me??????? why? Haha, see... my favorite question is why and why and why..... I think as I grew more older, I'm more curious in so many things compared to when I'm in my high school. When the teacher said this is the answer, then that's it! No Whys.... But now, as I'm in college (entering my 3rd year as soon the semester starts next month), I'm more into questions like 'how's and 'why's" .... I'm so curious why the psychologists could find out certain variables pertaining to their research and sometimes I'm just not too sure how they go about researching it....

In my opinion, it's high time for me to grow up.......grow up in the sense to have the analytical skills and leadership skills! I can take up my whole life grumbling... but is that what I want in life? As I introspect my life, I realized this is not what I want! What I want is to complete my degree, get that certificate and move on with the career as a crisis counselor while doing my part time masters degree and become a counseling and clinical psychologist thereafter. What a long way to go... Will my dreams succeed? God is in control of that! That is what I believe. My aunt always say, "Why are you dreaming so big?" Well, what I know is that I'm serving a BIG God, hence, my dreams can be BIG too!!! This is what I learnt from one of the Sunday's sermons. With God, everything is possible!!

Well, there are times in my life whereby my grandma or anyone in my family will say, "You don't have to aim so high for your results/ grades. Just aim for a pass, it's enough." For me, if I want to aim, of course I will rather aim for an A... not a B or a C or a Pass.... As according to researchers, if a student aims for a pass, their results will fall short from what they have aimed, hence , they will receive a F grade. If I would aim for an A, I might get a B or a C.... better than a F grade while aiming just a pass!!! This could be due to the efforts those students have put in for their exams and etc.

So, guys.... if you're aiming for something, AIM FOR THE STARS- AIM HIGH!! So, you could shoot the nearest target!!! Not sure how true it is for you people, but it's TRUE for me!! Try it out!!!! It's never too late to try! As the saying goes, "NEVER TRY , NEVER KNOW".

=PIECES=

When I looked over my life, I could still remember the 'jigsaw' puzzles and could see them scattering around in my life! Phew, guess it's a lot of them that need to be combined, so that a clearer picture of my life could be seen! But deep in my heart, i was asking myself: "Why- why there are so many pieces? Why God?

Why God? Why??".................There are times when I find myself couldn't take it anymore.... I feel so tensed and everything seems doesn't seem to go the way I always wanted it to be. In fact, life can be so stressed but God is always there to take charged of it! However, this doesn't seem to come into reality except all of us know that God exists! He does, He does!!! He is with us 24/7!!! His love for me and you is endless. No one can comprehend!!!

Pieces... pieces,
So many pieces to my life.
Scattered all around
And some of them are gone,
And I know that I can't ever
Put them back together again.

Pieces... pieces,
So many pieces to my life.
A puzzle left unfinished,
Jumbled and unformed.
Who can really ever
Fit it all together again?
Who will? Who will?

In a vision like a daydream
that filters through my mind,
I saw Jesus coming closer,
closer than I can ever imagine.
Holding all my dreams combined.
He spoke with great compassion
as He put one hand on me,
and in His other hand He held
what I could never see.

He said, 'Pieces... pieces',
I've got all the pieces to your life,
A thousand tiny fragments
or every single day.
I can put them all together
So they'll never fall away.
I can put them all together
And there'll never be another one who can.
No, there'll never be another one who can- Except me!!!!

In Psalms 27...God has promises me so many things but only today... yes..only today I manage to get the slight light out of it!!!

Psalm 27
Light, space, zest-- that's God!
So, with Him on my side I'm fearless,
afraid of no one and nothing.

2 When vandal hordes ride down
ready to eat me alive,
Those bullies and toughs
fal flat on their faces.

3 When besieged,
I'm calm as a baby.
When all hell breaks loose,
I'm collected and cool.

4 I'm asking God for one thing,
only one thing:
To live with him in his house
my whole life long.
I'll contemplate His beauty;
I'll study at His feet.

5 That's the only quiet, secure place
in a noisy world,
The perfect getaway,
far from the buzz of traffic.

6 God holds my head
and shoulders
above all who try to pull me down.
I'm headed for his place to offer anthems
that will raise the roof!
Already I'm singing God songs;
I'm making music to God!

7 Listen, God... I'm calling at the top of my lungs:
"Be good to me! Answer me!"

8 When my heart whispered, "Seek God,"
my whole being replied,
"I'm seeking Him!"

9 Don't hide from me now!
You've always been right there for me'
Don't turn Your back on me now.
Don't throw me out, don't abandon me;
You've always kept the door open.

10 My father and mother walked out and left me,
but God took me in.

11 Point me down your highway, God;
Direct me along a well-lighted street;
Show my enenmies whose side You're on.

12 Don't throw me to the dogs,
those liars who are out to get me,
filling the air with their threats.

13 I'm sure now I'll see God's goodness
in the exuberant earth.

14 Stay with God!
Take heart. Don't quit.
I'll say it again:
STAY WITH GOD!

All in all, I'm so lucky to have Jesus in my LIFE!!! Things can seem impossible at times, but with Him around, I will do fine!!!

Well, something strange happenned in the midst of last night.... I was ......to be continued later!! Sorry people!!!

"Counting down!!! Counting down!!* It is only the 4th day of my break but I'm so bored with it. Nonsense, right? Don't you think so? I have always wanted for a break whenever I'm in the midst of my semester but when the holidays emerged, I wanted to be in college and in lectures again. I guess I couldn't stop myself from getting my hands back on my books and assignments. It seems a a fun and interesting to do! But I can imagine most of you who are reading this will shook your heads. Well, any comments and feedbacks are welcome as there is nothing such as right or wrong. I'm sure all of you know this, right?:P Haha...

I'm still wondering now. 'Why am I saying I am bored when I have a proposal to get done with?' Perhaps, it might because I'm still struggling with it. I have no ideas on how to write a grant proposal although with the long list of guidelines in front of me. Maybe I'm still too tired after my exams on Monday and I'm still in the mood of the break. But that proposal is due by next week...and I didn't even get my hands on- even for the first sentence.

Wait a minute!!! I think what is going on in my mind now is sleep, daydreaming... catching up with the latest chinese movie on TV and last but not least, still figuring how many subjects to take the coming semester. Well, will it be too risky for me to take 5 subjects since there's no more mid terms? Am I too silly and rush? Am i making a good, wise decision? Am I... Am I??? God, why am I rushing? Why? Why? God, if you think it's more than I can handle, do let me have it... if not, you please decide it for me.... *helpless* God, I'm tired... I'm really tired... I just hope you will fastforward the time for me to graduate soon- get a job and enjoying my career!

Hey, my dear daughter,
Hope you hear Me- Listen to this:

Visualize in your mind,
even for a few moments,
what success would look like to you.
See yourself somewhere in that vision
as content and happy.
You can achieve whatever you want
as long as you have faith
and believe that you deserve
what I (God) intended for you.
Visualize what it is that you want,
then work toward it;
take one step each day.
Half the battle is won
if you just keep that vision
firmaly planted in your life.
The rest is in the hands of Mine! (God).

After listening to this, I'm stunned, looking around for some clues but deep inside my heart, I knew what God wants from me is to have more FAITH in Him, for He is a God of Provider, nothing more than our God of Everything!! He is above All !!! Amen!!!

I need to change...probably inside out! I could still remember that change is a natural part of all life... it's inevitable! Well, if I can't change the ones outside of me, then it's high time for me to change MYSELF!! Yes, I, Me and Myself!! Want to hear my thoughts on this?

Come along with me:

Clouds do not stand still,
Trees boom, then shed their leaves,
Tides come to shore, then retreat,
Night follow day
which in turn follows night.
Life is a constant cycle- ever changing- yet never changing....
And we are a part of it all...
We will be here for a time,
but only until our time is done.
We have only just so much time
to make our mark,
so that we are worth remembering.
We should realize that we are as important as: the clouds, the tides and the seasons,
we have our place and must play our part
as best as we can
in life's ever-unfolding story!

In short, do not fear of change but embrace it!! Look at the positive side of change. Be more optimist! Change can help you grow: grow and think more maturely. Just believe that God will guide you through... Have faith and trust in Him!!!

I will surrender all to You, LORD!!!! I promise!!!

*Sobs sobs* Summer semester has over. Too fast! Although i'm feeling sad about this, yet i'm still feeling a sense of relief as I don't have to study consistently every now and then. :) Well, well.. I'm trying to remember what has happenned throughout this whole semester. Oh yeah... I took 3 subjects (as you can read from my previous post) and guess what? I cope well with it! At first, i thought i wouldn't manange it as I don't have that sense of confidence that i could do it. In fact, I have been praying hard throughout that whole semester that I will be fine... yes...i will be fine! Thank God...i'm doing well and fine until today!

Yesterday was my finals and I sat for 2 papers, namely: Introductory to Macroeconomics and Chemistry 1. Well, for these 2 papers, I don't have any expectations on them... i just hope I can get a minimum of a B+ and I will be more than happy. For the Intro to Design course, I just hope that I can at least get a B+ too as I can't predict what is the impression of my lecturer when he grades my project. If I see it's nice, but that doesn't implies to the lecturer. So, i just pray than God will have mercy on me... helping me gain some good grades! God, I know you know what I want.... You listen to my cries...my hope....and you are there for me 24/7.

This semester seems so relaxing to me, but it doesn't mean the 'normal' relax though... It's like I am more calmer this semester... studying without any expectations for the grades... doing what i can and did it with the best! And guess what? I didn't ever mentioned the word 'stress' for the first time in my life. The word 'stress' and 'die' are only coming out from my friends mouth... I felt so irrated and stressful when i hear those words. I tried not to be influenced by them and not to get stressful just because of this little things... As you know, i'm not a certified counselor yet... nor a crisis counselor... I can't be with them 24 hours a day , preventing them from wanting to die... some of them are quite serious when saying them but sad to say, it's not my job. That is their life... they should be responsible for their own life. I shouldn't interfere as I know all of them are still in a sound mind... neither depressed and etc. All in all, it doesn't mean I don't care for them... It's just that they are big enough and know what they should and should not do... I 'm sure they know all this quite well... if they are stress and down, perhaps they can seek help from the counselors....

Anyway, that's the crisis I had for this whole semester. Apart from that, everything is fine... I'm emotionally stronger now... friends can hear my laughter, the jokes I had... and yes....I'm the different 'Cindy' now... It's a big different... and it's hard for me to believe that too...

In my opinion, I think I had changed so much because I believe that I can't change others, things and places. What i can only change is myself. Another thing I can think of is because I'm tired of being a perfectionist. I don't think it has bring me any good.

And i had a month break now... not sure what i can do after my Asia Works Training at the end of this month for a period of 4 days... then...i guess I will get back to my normal routine again which is to study a bit on the subjects that i'm planning to take for the next semester... at least i have some knowledge on that subject...some confidence...

Well, I'm quite tired today and I guess it's time for me to stop for now.... Need to get some rest... ^_^

Chiaoz!
