whee............ I woke up at 9 a.m today! What is so special about this, huh? Well, let me tell you this: It's a beautiful morning today... my mood was so high, I could say 'pretty high'... I just jumped down from my bed and ran downstairs happily! oh, yes.. I have an ortho appointment this afternoon at 2 p.m. I nearly forgot all about it. ;)

However, I'm not sure why am I feeling terribly high this morning- perhaps I have a good sleep last night but I don't think so. Well...well, I guess it is merely because I'm in the middle of my holidays. Apart from that, when I'm in the ortho clinic, after I've passed my card to the nurses in there, my name was called so I went in. I greeted my dentist, Dr. Maria and she began to check my teeth... and guess what? She said in a very strict voice, "Why did you hook the elastic at the wrong hook?" Certainly, I was so shocked to hear that as I didn't ever hook the elastic wrongly as far as I'm concern. I guess it occurs because I was in a rush to the clinic this afternoon and I hooked it wrongly at the wrong hook. Besides, it doesn't really affect my mood that much as I'm feeling pretty high today or else, I'll be very down... After hearing what my dentist said to me, I told her that I'm so sorry and I promised that this won't happen again in the future.

After that appointment, on the way back, I dropped by at the optical shop to collect my spectacles. Yeah, I can see clearly now and Kenneth won't have to tease me anymore. He has been teasing me since yesterday... saying that I'm a bat...... oh well, let me tell you--> He's a good joker, perhaps I will always feel so uplifted after every chat or sms... I can just giggle away and my grandma will look at me with a very funny look, wondering why am I giggling non-stop!

In fact, I didn't manage to online that long today as I'm still getting use with my new spectacles (new power, as my power has dropped) and indeed, a very bad headache as well. As I couldn't online to chat and play my favourite Gunbound game, sms has been an entertainer to me. Kenneth has sent me a few sms and I would reply him with a few as well.... and I think I could imagine that he's giggling away on the other side too!

Errmm, since my handphone was being stolen 2 weeks ago, all of my friend's contact numbers were all gone and I could hardly remember their numbers so I need to make a wild guess... I was hoping that I guess their number correctly. At last, I decided to send an sms to Gavin and Kit Yen. Eventually, I didn't get any reply from them until when I was about to sleep (12 a.m), I got a reply from both of them! I'm truely surprised and amazed that I got their number correctly. I was shocked to hear that Gavin has lost his handphone too but he could still remember my number very well but I've sent him an sms using the other number... Let me quote what he has typed in the sms, "Oh haha, it sounded like you but I thought that couldn't be coz' that's not your number. I'm fine here but work is hectic. I gotta bathe now and I will catch up with you later. "

And my big sister, Kit Yen... She has been so busy lately and I'm so happy to say that, she hasn't fogotten me. She was always there for me when I really need her, in terms of advise and words of encouragement. Even, she's the one who gave me the moral support when I was about to get back to college in May. I could still remember the first time I met her when she came over to my house, together with another sister... I was so down until I couldn't even eat (guess, I've not been eating for several days) and probably I would have died of hunger. She sang a song on "Jesus loves me 'tis I know'... and it really reminds me that if there's no one on this earth can actually love me, Jesus is always there and He loves me a lot... Anyway, by going visiting together with her to old folks home and nursing home were so fun... got to know that some of the grannies need someone to hear to their sharings and need someone to talk to... besides, I missed going to Jean's Home so much...

Yippee!! At last I manage to wake up at 10 a.m today! Finally, huh?? ;) Yeah, brushed my teeth and off I go downstairs and get the newspaper to read for the day! Errmm, went out to get my eyes checked and my spects repair and got back about 3p.m. Took a shower and at last, I'm on the net again.. oh ya.. met Kenneth in MSN and we started playing Gunbound! After playing for a few hours, my eyes got very tired and I felt restless. So, I decided to take my dinner rather early today and straighaway go to bed after that!

*Cindy's precious memories during her Summer semester*

Summer semester has just ended 2 weeks ago and I'm now off for a one month break (guess there's only 2 weeks left now) Time flies... hmm, summer semester has been a great one! I've took 3 subjects which is Microeconomics, Freshmen English II and Moral Studies! At first, I thought that Microeconomics doesn't require any research paper or projects but I found out that I was wrong. Indeed, there's a research paper on Proton Cars that required me to find out whether their project is viable or not. It took me sometime to surf on the net for information and finally I got some information on that. My dad has been a great help to me at that time. He has a wide knowledge on Proton Cars and he has help me to write the research paper in the end. Furthermore, he has a friend working in the Kenanga Office nearby and he asked for his help to find out some shares or accounts on that project and definitely this has contribute much for my research paper... And here, I would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to all of you, that has taken so much afford and time to help me out...*bows*

Freshmen English II...Let me see... I've been in that class since August until October '03(if I'm not mistaken) , in January(for 2 weeks and I dropped it after that) and it's finally over right now. I've retake this subject due to some reasons (of course I didn't flunk) in mid of May and everything went on well. I could say that the course is tough and it requires me to put more effort in my writing and the workload it's kinda heavy! There's 2 projects ( 1 group project and 1 research project). And you guys know what? None of my group members contributed in anything for this and I'm the only one finishing it... So, it's really really time consuming! Despite the heavy workloads, I'm still satisfied with everything and anything! Err, summer semester was really short in terms of the period for lectures and everyone is rushing to pass up their projects.. And after 4 weeks of lectures is the mid-term exams and after the 3 weeks will be the final exams! Sounds hectic, isn't it?

Similarly, this goes the same for Moral Studies. Eventually I was so tensed up during the lectures as I found it a bit tough and everytime before I went for the lectures, I would pray silently... I prayed that my lecturer, Ms. Geetha will lecture more slowly and yes, she took her time lecturing and I would merely understand every word, every sentence that came out from her mouth! Thank God! And I could still remember every time during the lectures whereby after every group presentation from various groups, she would come out with some questions and she just hope that someone would answer her questions..And I'll noticed that her eyes were somehow looking at me and I knew that she wants to hear an answer from me. So, I spoke out and, she will go... " Yes, correct." Well, I think I just simply like Ms. Geetha's classes so much as it's so fun and interesting.

To top it up, summer semester has been a great one despite the heavy workloads and hectic schedule. However, I just enjoy it as I can get to know more friends, challenging and moreover, keep myself on track in every classes! Got to go for now... Look out for more tomorrow!

*Cindy waves at everyone.....* :)

*stares at "Your say" box with a laugh* ~Look at what Aliya has typed in there!~

Huh? I woke up at 12 p.m today! Yeah, exactly 12 noon!! And I go....aww...I can't wake up early again!! My head was so heavy today and I nearly bumped into my cupboard. haha :P

Went to take my shower at 1 p.m and had my lunch at about 2 p.m and straight away, ran upstairs to get into my room again and start packing up my books, clearing up everything since I've moved to my aunt's room before my final exams! And there's so much to clean up!

And after cleaning up most of my things, I put on my Interactive Psychology lectures cassette and listen to it! I have a great time with that! You guys from HELP Institute... I'm sure you know who Mr. Alexius is, right? He's a good lecturer and when I on that cassette, I can start laughing and I could imagine myself back at the auditorium again at Level 4! At that time, he took over Mr. Jerry's(Gerard) lectures due to some reasons and I'm overjoyed, of course!

While I'm listening to that cassette, there's something really hit me really hard! I could still remember how hard I strive every semester to get a GPA of 3.5 and above and if I ever fail to get that, I may think that it is end of the world! But guess what? According to Mr. Alexius lectures, he said that whatever your CGPA is, if you have really strive and work hard, it is your credits that transfer, NOT your grades! At this moment, I really overwhelmed by that. Furthermore, it really make some things back alive into my life that my grades don't have to be that perfect. If I can really make it to a CGPA of 3.5 and above, that's great but if I can't, it is still alright as I've tried my best and poured in all my effort for every semester without failing! And here again, it is not END OF THE WORLD yet!!

After listening to all of my Interactive Psychology cassettes that I've recorded during the Fall semester last year, I managed to get some rest and took a nap. I woke up at 7 p.m and the phone rang! My aunt called up and asked me to go shopping with her at JJ! And, I quickly had my hair pinned up, changed into a proper outfits and.........Arrggghhh.....my glasses dropped when I was about to go off!! one of the glasses splits into 2 and my aunt was here waiting for me outside. And I told my grandma, "What should I do? Should I go out or should I stay home? I can't see properly now..." And you know what she said? She told me to use my old spects first but the power in that spects is very low...and how can I use that? It's impossible, right? Well, as I'm still insist to go out with my aunt, I've got no choice than having that old spects on! And, off I go!

Moreover, when I've reached JJ, I felt the giddiness in my head and the pain in both of my eyes! Oh well, I told myself that I need to persevere on until my aunt is done with her shopping and I tried to occupied myself with things that I need to buy coz' there's a mega sale going in there and I've bought myself some big files as I don't have enough of that at home. And yes, my favourite biscuits called "RUSKS". It's supposingly for the babies but I'm eating it right now. Probably, I don't have the chance to eat it when I was a baby and now I've bought a big box of that! And true enough, I've eaten 9 of them and it's going to finish very soon, I guess! ;)

After that, I went off to get everything paid and try looking out for my grandma, aunt and my cousin sister. After a few minutes looking, at last I found them at a small corner whereby there's someone selling some jade bracelets and etc...etc... and my grandma was looking at one of them. And you know what? The promoter trying to put that jade bracelet into my grandma's wrist by putting some lotion over it....and it goes in my grandma's wrist smoothly and easily! But my grandma doesn't like that as it's too big for her and we decided to go back home instead of lingering around as it was 10 p.m at that time! Shopkeepers and the others are preparing to get home(clearing up their stuffs....etc). So off we go into the car! ;) What a relief!!

Reached home about 11 p.m and started to arranged all the things bought in a proper place, watched some TV shows and off I go on the net again! Saw Kenneth in the MSN and we started off chatting....until now. Yeah, it's a great day today though but I felt restless. It's 1 a.m here and I need to go for now... C'ya!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Cindy remembered her wonderful time during EN 101 course (cont.)

As you have noticed in my previous entry, I did mentioned a friend of mine named Tai Ling! She's real cool but sad to say, she is no longer studying at HELP Institute as she has left during the Fall Semester last year to Kemayan ATC for her law courses! Yeah, she's my best friend, a friend which I could always share my ups and downs without hesitation or doubts and she found that right too! Well, I could still remember when I was in HELP for the 1st semester! We took the same subjects and we always lingered around at the 'mamak stalls' and you know what? She would drove me around the Damansara town...exploring some new roads to get our nice lunch and there's a few times we got caught in a terrible traffic jams and lost our way in the middle of the road! But, it's really cool to explore some new ways though....

And yup, when I recalled back my times with her at HELP's main block (the long tunnel without ending), it's really nice of her to bring me to every exits....go out for McD, KFC, Pizza Hut and the most wonderful one was the cyber cafe... we do all our chattings there with our friends... we joke non-stop and that is the most wonderful time I enjoy myself most at HELP!! And one more thing I could still remember is when we sat in front of Mr.Gerard's room back at the main block.....we were chatting and laughing all the way.... and we have so much to share and there isn't any ending for that! But when she left, it has taught me that I shouldn't rely only on one friend but to mix around with others as well and guess what? I've so many friends this semester... I've become so talkative and according to my friends, I've been very optimistic nowadays. And you could see me walking here and there during the break in Econs classes as my friends calling me from one corner to the other end...or I'll go to them instead of them calling me... Well, this has really taught me that college life isn't about getting good grades only but to be more sociable in every aspects of life and to be good in everything! To build up my self-esteem and to be a happier person! "Good friends can make a great change in your life!" And this was actually included in one of Mr. Alexius lectures!

Anyway, although we are far apart, our friendship still maintain and we still keep in touch with phone calls, sms and chats! She's a GREAT friend to be with always and I will always wish her all the best in everything she does!

*sorry that I couldn't put in my latest fond memories for this semester right now as it's nearly 2 a.m... sorry, ya? look out for tomorrow!!* ~Cindy winks at everyone~ ;)

Unforgettable moments
Oh my! I didn't manage to get back to my 'very old schedule' yet! *shrugs* Well oh well.. I didn't online so often as the past few days where I spend so much time on Goundbound game and chattings... In fact, I've been spending my time reading on the 8 tips for faster reading! Friends around me have been telling me that my reading speed is fast but I still think that it isn't fast enough! So, I start off reading with the first tip which is 'Relax'. In most situations, I found out that I don't have to understand 100% of everything I've read! And I realized that no one is going to test me on my leisure reading...It sounds cool, right?

Let me move on with the 2nd one - 'Focus'. I knew that before I start to read a text, I should get myself mentally prepared; quickly glanced through the context to make a mental map which will help me to decide precisely which reading method I should use and how quickly I should aim to read it. Perhaps, by looking at the headlines or titles, captions, illustrations will give me a clearer picture of the whole.

Next is ' Use of Peripheral Vision'- Errm... this is what I usually do. I will try to take a page of text; focus on a single word in the centre of the text and how many other words can I recognise around it, without taking my focus away from the original word... Don't you think it's challenging?

Time pressure is one of the techniques too. Let me tell you this: Most people find that time-pressure helps, so set yourself a time limit for reading a piece of text. However for me, I simply dislike time pressure as it really 'kicks me off' from getting the main ideas from the whole text! Well, I just merely like spending my 'own sweet time' reading certain texts and enjoying it!
Apart from that, by charting the reading rate(progress) can help me to record my speed of reading and thus, I can choose a fairly easy book for speed practice. Besides, I found out that I don't have to use the dictionary that often as I can figure out the meaning of a word from the context. But, if I still need it, I will try to look it up.
And yes..the more you read, the better you will become at reading and the more you enjoy it! Hence, there's a quote which goes: "The more you read, the more you know." :)
*Cindy remembered her wonderful time during EN 101 course*
I've been continuously packing up my room this afternoon. Yucks, it's so dusty and I go on.... *sneezing* I didn't know that I've got so many files (big files, small files, heavy files....etc!) That's many, don't they? And yeah, there's a lot of books too (my college books)...it's so heavy! Oh my! My EN 101 books are still with me. I haven't sell it yet. I just hate one of those books... that Mrs. Jones in that Power Play really ..... you know what I mean, right? Guess you're on the right track. On the contrary, I just appreciate that Paragraph Power book! It has help me a lot in my sentence structure and has taught me to develop my English further- more towards a higher level of English. And, I still could remember my lecturer, Mrs. Tan... she has been a very good lecturer, easily approached (perhaps her friendly look) and guess what? I was her 'fovourite pet student' at that time!
In fact, my wonderful time at EN 101 had not only improved my English regardless of the good lecturer as I've got a very friendly friend named 'Tai Ling' who will always help me bring out my inner feelings. We will always laughed and joked non-stopped eventhough we were in the lectures and Mrs. Tan will go......"Is there anything funny?" And both of us will give her a lovely grin! And after the lectures, both of us will usually head to the nearest cafeteria to have our lunch, which is also known as our "common" cafeteria as we were still not sure where we can have our lunch since HELP's ADP has just moved to KPD at that time. And let me tell you that we were so lucky on one of those days whereby Mrs. Tan brought us and showed us some places nearby to get our nice and lovely lunch! Don't you think she's so kind? Indeed, very kind of her, right? Yeah..definitely!!! ;) Moreover, the places really offered a great variety of things....for instance, vegetarian corner, the mixed rice, 'soupy stuffs' and lots more!
And, sad to say, Mrs. Tan is no longer lecturing at HELP anymore. I really miss her a lot and if I would to meet her one day, I would really take that opportunity to say a big, big, big......... "Thank You!" for her guidance as well as her encouraging words during every lectures! *bows* And Oh yes, she also gave me the assurance that I will do well in my EN 102 (the final english course) and she advised me to read up more articles in the newspapers during that term break and of course, I listened to her advice and I just hope that my EN 102 results that will be out in a few weeks time will be a miracle or somewhat good enough to prove that I have done my best(the efforts that I've poured in) and God is in control of EVERYTHING!
Well, look out for my next unforgettable moments at HELP Institute during my summer semester. Let me tell you this: Summer semester has been a wonderful one and I will always cherish it anywhere I go! No doubts, no worries, no stress and it's a GREAT one!! I simply enjoyed it! ;)
*Cindy went off cheerfully after she posts this entry*

yeah!! I won in that Gunbound today! Haha... It's so fun! And I was actually playing without aiming and I did kill my ownself without knowing! And I go.....oh oh... what have I done? Well, that's not a BIG deal! Coz' Kenneth will tell me, "Look out, look out!" Then, I quickly move up or down from that dangerous position! Anyway, it's a bit scary when the sudden death came. I'm so scared and I'm not that calm anymore.

At least there's something for me to look forward everyday especially for today as I've been studying for my TOEFL essay questions-preparing the outline for each possible questions. Moreover, it is just more or less as the EN 102 course which I've taken lately. So, it's nothing new to me but I guess I got to improve my writing skills though..

However, I'm looking forward for the semester to start again. Sad to say, there's 3 weeks more to go. I'm now wondering should I look for a part time job or should I stay home playing Gunbound with my friends? Or should I plan for a holiday instead? Oh, there's so many things going around my mind right now... Arrgghh...what should I do?? Too many options. Oh no..I think I just want to relax as much as I can for this holidays but....I want to earn some $$$$$!!

Anyway, it's very late now and why am I still blogging here instead of resting? Oh my, Oh my! I've been waking up at about 11.30 a.m lately as I slept so late every night after my finals! And yes, I need to get back on my usual schedule from now on! I'm aware that it is bad for my health and why am I still here??? Look out for tomorrow's episode!

*Leaving with a smile* ;)

Today supposingly to be a tiring day for me...however with Gunbound, it has really uplifted me with laughters and in fact, every doubts & worries; totally gone-in the wind! Oh yeah, according to my friend, Gunbound will no longer a free game starting next month as it will be charge at a price of RM 30 per month .. So, if you guys want to try, then go for it NOW! yes, NOW!

Ok, for the time being, let me think back what I've done today: Well, I've been updating my study files, packing up my rooms, playing Gunbound in between, chatting with friends...And perhaps, I need to pen-off now as I'm so sleepy and need to get a good rest! Hopefully, you'll see a longer one tomorrow!

*Smiles and bids everyone good night!

Holidays

Gunbound oh Gunbound!! This is the 1st time I get into playing Gunbound after being pursuaded by my friends so many times... And guess what??? I got addicted by that game! Moreover, it's such a fun game, just like Worms... whereby you shoot your opponents(friends) instead of worms! Haha? Don't you think it's fun? Go to my link where it says Gunbound on your left side...

Oh yes... Kenneth is the one who trained me up or else I won't know what the hack is it all about! He's really kind enough to spend some time with me and after a few trials... I got into it! Then he will say.. "you're improving...not bad... you're getting better and better!" I was like....*sighing* at him though... coz' I don't think I'm playing that well enough yet as I only won 2 games out of ..... I guess there's more than5 games.

Apart from that, I really enjoying myself and true enough, I could sit in front of my compie more than 8 hours without moving away! I was like... crazy about the game...downloaded it today for more than 3 hours (connection was so slow).. and add my buddy and I started playing! haha:) I kinda addicted yet there's a break for me in between... or else i will die of hunger and thirst instead of satisfaction!! You get what I mean?? Anyway, look out for more tomorrow, ya? Don't miss it!! Maybe there's another episode of what is going around......HERE! Yes....HERE!!!! :) *Hugs*

What a Wonderful Moment I had TODAY!!
Hey....let me start off with this- As I was chatting with my friend, Kenneth this afternoon, a sense of humor came to me. Well, I'm not aware of that and I was like...... putting in the emoticons on a smiley sticking out its tongue so often and I make him laugh and laugh at me.
Moreover, when I took a break to had my bath just now, you guys no what?????? He 'kutuk' me like nobody business!! lol :L I go like........"oh dear!" When will he stop doing those thingy???? oh No!!! Oh No!! I guess he's a bit crazy today coz' he was playing some online games with his friends until so late last night - perhaps until 2/3 a.m. in the morning!!!! I think this is one of the reasons why he is so..................... haha!! He will go 'woof'...'woof'.... 'woof'.....Well, if he get the chance to read this, I guess he will go like ........ You ah!!!" Haha..
Well, I've been chatting with him on the MSN today and getting to know him more day by day! Anyway, I'm so glad to know him as my friend....and hey kenn, i'm your "taikacheh" as I'm older than you by 8 months ( nearly 1 year, woh) and you should be calling me "jie jie"! :P Don't get offended by this, ya?
You guys know what? His words are very encouraging and has always uplift my "dark clouds." And, I will go about thanking him again and again! And yes, he loves his doggy very much! Errmm... I have always wanted to get his doggy off from him and in other words, I want take his doggy back home. Unfortunately, he won't let me have it though! As I've said earlier on, he loves his pet, doggy so much and so much that you can always think of... In fact, he could even sleep with his doggy and perhaps his doggy has lost its' virgin...haha :P
Furthermore, he's my bro' in-Christ and he's a GREAT guy! Ok, let me end with this: He is incredible yet huggable!" ;)
*Cindy is listening to the music whole-heartedly, soothing off her soul....*

Day dreaming
Looking out from my window, there's a beautiful scenery awaiting for me- perhaps its fresh and cooling air reminded me of something special today!! In fact, as I stand by the window overlooking the view, some thoughts came to my mind! Thoughts that I should thank God for He's the Creator of EVERYTHING, including us, HUMANS!! I supposed that even the technology was created by Him. Or else, I don't think I could ever spend my time more meaningfully than having this compie of mine! Regardless of my compie, I could spend my holidays chatting with my peers, sharing our experiences and there's so much more I can do! And, to keep in touch with all of my friends again!! :P Apart from that, when I was chatting with one of my friend, named "Annie", I would say that she's a very optimistic gal...and she's full with sense of humor!! And, she can make me laugh and most of all to cheer me up as well! Perhaps, I can also imagine how I'm gonna survive without the compie and the internet access!!! I'm gonna die of boredom!!!!!!!! And, I would go on shouting without direction........ "I'm so bored, I'm so bored, I'm so bored!!! " Awww......... Oh well, it's pretty late here and it's time for me to go to bed!! Hey....nitez everyone!!!

Thank God! Exams were over!
Hey Guys! I would say that this is my first blog entry! Give comments, k? Perhaps, I'm just sharing my thoughts and feelings with all of you!! :) How is my day like and whole lots more...........

As I was relaxing right now, thoughts of how I've actually gone through this short and hectic semester and yet, I'm still survive came to my mind! Apart from that, I could still remember how I've rushed and glanced through the whole book for exams! (final exams) It's really scary but I think this is the college life! And not me only who felt this way, perhaps all of my friends as well!

In fact, I should give all the glory to Him coz' without Him, I don't think I would have the strength to persevere on until the end of this semester despite the heavy workloads (eg. projects, presentations and blah...blah...) Imagine the stress I had during that time!! It's awful but yet incredible! And yay!! :D Exams were over right now! Thank God!! It's time for me to relax and enjoy myself for this one month holiday! Although it's a boring one but I guess I've got to spend some time thinking on how I should spend my holidays this time round! Or else, it will go to waste!
OK... look out for my next entry! Probably, you'll get hold on what's going on during this relaxing moment of mine!! :P Cheers.......
