Stress Kills!

Entering the 6th week of my semester and today is a real stress for me. I was trying to finish up reading the chapter on client for my human services but I found myself in the 'lala land'. . . But thank God I managed to finished most of it and I left with 3 more pages before my quiz on this Wednesday.

What I could say is that my Saturday is somewhat "wasted" for the past 2 weeks, including yesterday. . . Not exactly wasted rather it has been put into good use for the Lord to restore my soul and mind once again! Yes, I admit I have lost approximately 10 hours for the past 2 Saturdays as well as on Wed nights but it's really worth it! Thank you Lord for ministering to me in such a unique way! I've learnt so much about you, God!!! Continue to do a deeper work in me!

Well, it's now 7.26 p.m and my table is still so messy and disorganized... Both tables are being used up eventually. . . I'm really so stressed up! It has been a hectic week for me but no matter what, I will still trust in the Lord for His strength to be upon me!

Ending my entry for today with a short poem which really touched my soul so much:

God have not promised,
skies always blue,
flowers-strewn pathways,
all our lives through.

God have not promised,
sun without rain,
joy without sorrow,
peace without pain.

God have not promised,
we shall not know,
fail and temptation,
trouble and woe.
He have not told us,
we shall not bear,
many a burden,
many a care.

But God have promised,
strength for the day,
rest for the labourers,
light for the way.
Grace for the trials,
help from above,
unfailing sympathy,
undying love.

All in all, I do not have to fear anymore as in 2 Tim 1:7, it is said that "For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind!"
