I'm back- back to blogging once again after being vanished for awhile. In fact, things haven't been the same for me again. One thing that really pulls me down so much for the past 2 weeks was that I was so ill and the dr. suspected I might be down with dengue fever but thank God, I'm feeling so much better today and I managed to enjoy this Holy Sunday by going to church with my grandma. I have so much to thank God for, including today's sermon. Perhaps it's because God has so much to tell me and that He has indirectly send someone, the annointed pastor to preach this morning. The title for today's sermon is how to reach my full potential with excellence. He said all of us are bound by our past and that we couldn't achieve our fullest potential that God has for us and we used to take things forgranted by sitting back and wait till our very last day... The pains and hurts could be the things that is holding all of us back too from serving God's kingdom... Well, I have learnt so much today about Moses... the 3 syndroms, namely...
- "Who am I" syndrome- God's voice convicts you to build you up but the devil's voice condemns you to put you down". Paul Hovey once said, "A blind man's world is bound by the limits of his touch; an ignorant man's world by the limits of his knowledge; a great man's world by the limits of his vision".
- "What If" syndrome- God uses what we have to develop our potentials cos' He won't demand the things that we don't have. He is more interested in our availability rather than our abilities. Our God is a God of Multiplication!
- "I am afraid I can't" syndrome- We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
This sermon has definitely taught me a lot... I should be ready to use by God to develop my full potential... I strongly believe that God has a great and bright future for me and He knows what is it that is right and good for me and whatever I do, I will do it for His glory!
